The Greater Philadelphia HSMAI (GPHSMAI) chapter offers members a variety of benefits including monthly education programs targeted specifically to the sales and marketing professional, a variety of networking and fund raising events and community service volunteer opportunities. Meetings and events are normally held on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception of special events such as Darby Day FUNRaiser, Summer Social and Industry Event, the Chinese Auction Fundraiser, and the Holiday Jingle Jam.

As a five-year member of HSMAI, I am excited and honored to serve you in 2011! Meeting and Listening is the means by which our Chapter intends to grow membership and get more of you involved. We want to be the best source of education and fun for you, and continue to provide the individual leadership opportunities that HSMAI is known for.

Also, I want to thank the entire Board of Directors for helping to create outstanding receptions and seminars. Because of all their hard work, our GPHSMAI Chapter received the prestigious award for Educational Programming 2010 by HSMAI Headquarters. Looking to the future, I’d like to ask if you are interested in becoming a board member of Greater Philadelphia Chapter to please contact me.

HSMAI GREATER PHILADELPHIA AWARDED THE FRANK W. BERKMAN CHAPTER AWARD FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING

The Annual HSMAI Frank W. Berkman Chapter Awards were presented at the 2010 HSMAI Leadership Conference held at the Ritz-Carlton Clayton Plaza in St. Louis, MO.  The Frank W. Berkman Chapter Award recognizes the "Best-of-the-Best" in chapter practices. The awards dinner presentation on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 was held at CityWide in St. Louis.  Competition for the 2009 calendar year awarded first place winners in ten categories, recognizing large, medium and small chapters.
